About Claire |
Claire Wombacher. Schumacher writes about everything in her life, including research in her local area and her travels to Saudi Arabia, Jerusalem, Europe and many United States. She has had a multifaceted life as a housewife, mother, and multiple working careers: Railroader; University of Minnesota, Duluth; Army Corps of Engineers; U.S. Air Corps (civilian); B. Dalton, Bookseller; Church Secretary and Lector; and a variety of other occupations.
She has produced and hosted her own TV Show,"Claire's Community Showcase" for the past ten years and gives talks and slideshows of her research and travels. She is retired from the working world, but continues to write books, articles and stories.
