Codyview, Buffalo Bill's Link with Duluth
Buffalo Bill Cody actually owned a house in Duluth, Minnesota. It was built by his sister, Nellie Wetmore. The mansion rested on the Bay View Heights hillside, overlooking Lake Superior and was first intended for the retired participants of Bill's Wild West Show. When Nellie couldn't pay the mortgage, Bill rescued her and it went into his name for ten years, as evidenced by the Title's history.

multifaceted life as a housewife, mother, and multiple working careers: Railroader; University
of Minnesota, Duluth; Army Corps of Engineers; U.S. Air Corps (civilian); B. Dalton, Bookseller;
Church Secretary and Lector; and a variety of other occupations. She has produced and hosted her own TV Show,"Claire's
Community Showcase" for the past ten years and gives talks and slideshows of her research and travels. She is retired from the working world,
but continues to write books, articles and stories.
